Lovely, but not sure it's an "Executive" These had silver mesh grills. Do you have wood tables for the rear seats?

Welcome.

Im sure the lock issue will be sorted with a reset.

Make sure you get the subframe treated for rust if you want to keep the new car in good order.

Reeceb you have a lovely car so don't get me wrong, and it's a great colour combo by the looks of it too. Mine is a "bog standard" 2007 QP with horizontal chrome slat grill.

"The Quattroporte Executive GT was a comfort and luxury-oriented specification; it came equipped with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an Alcantara-suede interior roof lining; ventilated, adaptive, massaging rear seats, rear air conditioning controls, veneered retractable rear tables, and curtain shades on the rear windows. The exterior was distinguished by 19 inch eight-spoke ball-polished alloy wheels and chrome mesh front and side grilles. "

WIth Maserati anything is possible so it may very well be an exect GT. However Maserati specified Exec GTs with the above options.

Enjoy your car as its a beaut!

My 07 Exec Gt has a leather steering wheel not wood. Seems you can get pretty much any permutation
Good luck
Dave, don't you wonder if spec sometimes depended on what was on the shelf at the time. I can't imagine the Germans putting up with it but part of the charm of Italian cars! Either that or too much Chianti with lunch and inability to focus on the spec sheet!
Welcome to the OP, despite now owning a Strad, I still long for another QPV, they are so beautiful.

Welcome to the forum, Reeceb, whatever your QP is, it's bloody lovely.
As safrane says and we cannot emphasise enough, subframes. Get them treated, painted then you can sleep easier at night and enjoy the car for what it is.
A gorgeous luxury cruiser.
