Was planning to put my 3200 up for sale this month. A lovely sunny drive may have changed my mind.

Thanks for all the tips and hints over the winter. Helped me keep everything tip top.

Keep it! Are your wheels painted as they look a bit darker than the usual colour. Car looks in great condition.

Hi. Thanks, it really is a beauty. Two minds now. If I had another garage it would be staying without a doubt. In two minds.

Yes, they are darker. I believe it was a factory option. I'm sure someone on here will be able to confirm.

Ah I see, they do look good. I've kept my originals when I upgraded to the AC Wheels, they need a refurb some time so might go for your colour.

I often think about upgrading but by the time I part exchange pay nother 20-30k plus running costs & depreciation the numbers don't makes sense. Especially as I've spent 27k since 2009 to get everything fixed and am using it every week now.

However if my numbers came up I'd think differently:)

The darker wheel colour is called Grigio Mercury if you do want to change to that colour.

Love the AC wheels and the interior. Have toyed with that idea too.

When the sun was out the offer day I got an itch for a British classic sports car. Now it's raining that doesn't seem so appealing!

When I bought the AC wheels I hid them in the garden shed and pretended they had been there for years :) It's the lack of sunshine that stops me getting a convertible, it's been raining every day for the last week here.

Colour noted tks

She is looking so good. The day will come you will regret letting her go, I guarantee it, but if you have nowhere to store her there will always be pressure at the time.

Hi all - sorry to jump in here but on the subject of AC wheels I wonder if anyone can help - I'm looking to get some new wheel centres for mine but the ones I ordered seem much lighter than my alloys? Of course my wheels could have been resprayed darker but they seem the same as pictures of other AC's?

The ones I ordered were 189953 as per here:

http://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/m...es-wheels/wheels-and-accessories-41515/189953

Am I missing something here or have I been sent the wrong ones?

Thanks for any help,

Olly

I know you are right. Just being tempted by other options. Grass is always greener. Or not.

Always difficult to judge shades by photos. They will be lighter or darker on different screens. if your wheels have been resprayed then likely they have got the shade slightly off since the cap should be correct........I think.

These wheels & no doubt most others, are notoriously hard to match with the caps, especially as the plastic fades over time. I had the same problem with my 3200 wheels but they were 'near enough' for me. For others with OCD, they would have given sleepless nights!
