NOW SOLD!
I have a a set of 4 genuine Maserati 18" alloys with Pirelli p-zero tyres all round with lots of usable tread. They are Maserati factory supplied wheels that came off my 2004 Quattroporte in October 2013 and are in excellent condition. All 4 rims are stamped 'Maserati' and 'BBS Italy' inside so I have no doubt they are the factory wheels.
All 4 tyres look in great shape and all have even tread wear across the tyre. They should therefore be nicely balanced and (more importantly!) my cars alignment looks like it's good!
I'm looking for 575 GBP for the set, which is more than the tyres cost me!
As well as the QP, they may well fit a range of other Maserati's. Here are some technicals:
Front rims are 8.5J x 18 (full code is ET 52 8.5J x 18 EH2)
Front tyres are both 245/45/ZR18 100Y (Pirelli p-zero Rosso) and BOTH have tyre ID numbers that end 0708 hence manufactured in 2008.
Rear rims are 10.5J x 18 (full code is ET 50.5 10.5J x 18 EH2)
Rear tyres are both 285/40/ZR18 101Y (Pirelli p-zero Rosso) and BOTH have tyre ID numbers that end 2608 hence manufactured a little later in 2008.
None of the tyres have ever been repaired and there is no visible damage (sidewall or otherwise) to any of them. Also, there has been no drop in tyre pressure since they were removed.
Now I don't have a tyre guage tool and have never measured tyre tread depth before but my guesstimate using a small screwdriver and a measuring tape is that fronts BOTH have 5.5mm of tread remaining and the rears BOTH have 4.5mm of tread remaining. I will see if I can find someone local who has the proper tool to get a more accurate gauge.
On to the rims. The 2 rears are in excellent condition as is one of the fronts (i.e. no curbing whatsoever). The other front rim does have some light curbing that in my opinion could be used as is or (if you wanted all 4 to be perfect) a minor refurb job done on it. Take a closer look at the pic of the 4th rim below and draw your own opinion.
Any forum members who wish to try the wheels on their car to see if they like them and/or they fit are welcome to come to my place to do just that - no obligation. I'm located in North Herts around 15-20 minutes from South Mimms (M25/A1M intersection).
A pic of the wheels fitted to my QP ...
The wheels..
The tyres (both pairs have even tread wear and are identical)..

Please PM me if they are of interest or email me on internet4ultd@yahoo.co.uk. Also, feel free to ask any questions on this thread and I'll endeavour to answer them.
Thanks, Dhanj
