What a brilliant day. Karting was fun and very competitive; Silverstone was a fantastic experience and the dinner and drinks were great fun. Delighted to meet some old faces again and some new ones for the first time. Thanks to Miles for his exceptional organisation of everything and also to Dave for the Silverstone experience. Looking forward to the next gathering!

As a new forum member and new Maserati owner this was my first event. I had only ever met one person prior to going so was not sure quite what to expect as sometimes groups can be clicky. Needn't have worried as everybody was unbelievably friendly. I tried to remember everybodys name who I spoke to but at my age I forget stuff sometimes!
Anyway can I just add my thanks to all who had a hand in organising everything and keeping it all on time pretty much. I imagine it was pretty much like herding cats some of the time but you did a great job.
Thanks from Phil and Pauline

Just woken up after an afternoon of cushion hugging on the sofa.

Again a great bash and didnt feel too bad at all. Did anyone else see Rob at breakfast???....he was still completely out of it, haha, legend you are Rob!

Echo the sentiments above, Miles, once again pulls it off, and a special thank you to Dave for the Silverstone, that made me feel very special.

Curry I think to round off the weekend of excess then I think I'll have a drying out week.

Oh, and respect to Sheryl (Mrs Ambient) for being last in the bar at 5am.....and good luck for you works Xmas doo tonight!!!

Hi all,

Great weekend, not ashamed to say I missed the after party and Bar Conaero but after the week building up to it I was exhausted before it started and Jeanette proposed a suitable alternative that persuaded me the bar didn't need me :) Some of the wrecks at breakfast were confirmation I made the right choice (if it were needed).

What a super time, super company and a privilege to see so many cars and members in attendance. Silverstone was the icing on the cake and I marked it an 11 (oooops!).

To all those who organised things, a massive thanks, I'm looking forward to the next one already.

Car was faultless and our route home to Romford took a short detour to Southampton to see Sally and a blast through the Hindhead tunnel as a bonus! It is great to be back at the controls again :D

Cheers...

P.S. Miles and Rob's cars seemed to have added security when we left (being left in disabled bays after being told to use them) it seemed someone was trying to make a point, I hope it hadn't touched the cars or caused any damage.

Apparently, parking in the Disabled bays was done with the agreement of the management. The cars were reversed in so as to enable the fitting of the barriers in front of them and they were taken out when the cars were ready to go. That's what I call service!
