Front brakes stuck on and car won't, therefore, move

Strange one? Got in to set off, rear wheels just spun and churned the gravel...

Jacked up the front and the wheels will not turn - brakes are stuck on

Easy out is that the pads could be frozen to the discs due to washing car and the water freezing - but I doubt it is that

Any ideas?

All fixed, just needed some beans!

I think corrosion sticking the pads a bit combined with the gravel surface was the problem. (Quite) a few revs and a few R / D / R / D gear changes did it

Glad they let go. Probably worth going through a few high speed, hard-braking (and repeat) runs to get everything clean and playing nicely again.

Next time don't put the EPB on. I never do when I park it up now. Especially if it has been wet.

It will be because you washed it. You must dry the brakes or this will happen along with premature wearing of the discs. If it happens again, try tapping the caliper with a small piece of 2x4 or a rubber headed mallet, being careful not to damage the caliper by hitting too hard.
