Getting very tempted ...

MS...Do it.......I spoke to these a number of times when I was looking...He is trying to corner the market and keep prices high.....The red car with all the upgrades and the Cup kit is lovely and I was very interested but If you want the nice wheels it will cost you more and its also very over priced...He wanted 7500 for the car when I was looking with Teledials....With the silver wheels he wanted even more..........The advert says rebuild with 13k on the clock..What the advert doesn't say is that it had done something like 130k before the rebuild which makes it very exspensive as you can get a very nice well looked after GTV with 50k on the clock for 4k............Nice upgrades on the red car but he is charging you for them and you never get money back for upgrades......I think the car is worth 3 to 4k max.......

The chap selling these is very knowledgeable and a very nice chap but for me asking a bit too much for the some of the stock...These are just my opinions......As I said you don't need to pay more than 4k for a very nice well looked after GTV with some nice upgrades...Q2 etc......If I was to be buy a Cup £5500 and no more but for me the Cup isn't worth it as all it is is a body kit....Oh and you don't get full leather as with the standard car...

My only advice would be to buy one and budget to have a Q2 fitted which is around £800......It makes the world of difference to the way the car handles and drives...No torque steer......

There's some lovely looking examples on there, but like you say Andy, way overpriced.

Loads out there at the moment and you don't have to pay over the odds for a real nice one.....

Yes, you are all correct, the trouble is they all seem ever so cheap after Maser ownership!

More seriously, I paid 9K for a 3.0 GTV seven years ago, so I certainly wouldn't be paying anywhere close to that these days. Nice to see some modded GTV's though, it makes all the difference. I am tempted to buy a Cup and put a quad exhaust on.

What's the Q2? Some sort of diff? Never heard of it when I was part of the GTV crowd, which is a little surprising.

As Adam said it's a limited slip diff....Alfa fitted it to the GT and it transformed the car....You can nor get it retro fitted to early Alfa and I must say its the only mod that is really needed........A must........I also have upgraded discs at the front, Koni Adjustables and Eibach Springs, Q2, GTA lightweight fly wheel and Auto Delta twin exist.......And all this for £4500.....Doesn't get much better than that.

Still look stunning; I wish I'd never sold mine. Can never remember the number of mine though.
The Cup is still the best GTV as it commands a premium.
I think prices will stay high(ish) due to status - generally well-maintained proper Italian cars with a good image.

Cups have dropped in the last year...5 to 5.5k will get one these days yet when I was looking last year they were 7k.....The ones that are 6.5k plus are just not selling...
