Good service from Shlltech

Hello everyone from Geneva,

Just a quick note to share my experience of having a major service done at Shiltech a couple of weeks ago. My 06 QP has got almost 80k miles on it being my daily driver. Geoff and the team did a great job sorting out my snag list. I managed to get some new Pzero's for a good price and i was pleased by the thorough and friendly service. Clutch wear at 50% and yes i know its only a guide but since it has done 20k miles on the current one its not doing too bad!!

The car has gained even more respect from me having done over 2000miles in it to the Uk and back. Even after 12 hours behind the wheel i felt fresh. The car turned a lot of heads. The last 90 minutes of the journey back here is on twisties and my god you can chuck the big car in to corners I have to admit to constantly fretting about things going wrong given the age and miles but touch wood all is well......

Next trip is down to Turin in 3 weeks and then down to Monza for the Italian GP......bellissimo!

Hi Tim.. My old 3200GT is at Shiltec at the moment having the clutch replaced and a few other things although its only done 23,000 mls..

Then its straight down to Nice the fast way Might chatch you at Monza..

Let me know and we can fire down some Peroni BTW, some real exotica at the garage.....when i was there, 308' Testarossa's, 360, 612, QPs, 4200's....sensational stuff.......

Did you see the Gold 275 GTS? It's now in Italy for the Concours D'Eleganza Villa D'Este RM Auction. Full nut and bolt restoration to Classiche certification. Absolutely stunning.

I did indeed and as you say stunning. It was in progress when I was there....superb. There was also a very nice grey QP and one with a Greek flag on the back going in for a new clutch.

Out of interest Tim, where did you get the PZeros and what sort of price ? Will Shiltech fit them as well ? etc. etc.

Ren,
Shiltech sourced and fitted them (not sure if it was a mobile fitter). You best drop Geoff a line to see if he can get some. I got them for a good price (all 4 for 1200GBP which is good compared to here in Switzerland). Not sure how this compares to UK prices generally - it was just easier for me to get them done whilst the service was being done.
