I would love to make JC sit and watch his review of the biturbo , he must feel such a prat now , he drives it praising it left right and center , think his smugness would disappear in an inst

Some nice very complimentary clips of what are now the classic masers

Thanks Loz, not seen that either?

Have to admit I still struggle with the Mistral. Too generic and the rear arches / front arches just look wrong together, but the Sebring... the way the wheels sit in the rear arches... sublime....... and as for the Khamsin - a glorious wedge before the world new what a wedge was. Sad to think our Jezza went on to pronounce Lancia the best car maker..... how wrong he is.

Lancia made some good cars but come on, how flawed were they?? Stratos is known for a weird driving position, Integrale only available in LHD. TG said Lancia made 7 truely great cars, i presume the phrase truely great means the best, nothing else will do, from what you read about Lancia's i can only think of 1 great car, and that is the Integrale which is regarded as a true great.

The greatest manufacturer ever i would not say is Maserati, yes they have and still make superb cars but they have produced some dogs, same goes for Ferrari, Mondial and Testarossa spring to mind. Not sure who i would say is the greatest, Ferrari would have a chance as they have produced a lot of cars over the years and so to Porsche but they are critisised for being too good with no charm/personality. At the end of the day it is all down to personal preference, i would personally nominate a few manufacturers for producing great cars such as........

BMW for the original M3 and M5, 2 cars which kicked off the sport saloon scene also the 2003 M3 CSL, best car ever by BMW?? And do you ever read a bad review?? Never.

Audi for the Quattro, it's WRC domination speaks for itself and also the complex 4wd system they launched back in the day was revolutionary.

Maserati for the Gransport, a car i dream of and will always lust after even if i dont own one, i will never be satisfied until i have driven one.

Lancia for the Integrale, 6 WRC world titles in a row, no other manufacturer has ever matched that, the road car is supposed to be good too.

Lotus for the Elise, Exige and 2 Eleven, 3 sports cars which are capable of embarassing cars costing 3x the price plus they handle like a dream.

Like i said earlier, i suspect a few will disagree but i also did say, it is down to personal choice.

He does yes...But it's an older one.So a 2.24v and not a 222 4v..The last of the line..which is what Jeremy is driving were the better ones to look at and drive......Although they are pretty rare over here...

Thanks for that Loz, a cracking watch.

Did anyone else spot the same comment he used in the current evolution of the shows about Maserati.....referring to the Ladybird book or cars and being able to say Maserati before he could say Mummy!

I am pretty sure Mike Roberts has a 222 lurking somewhere in one of his sheds.
