I put a deposit down on a GT S today, I collect it next Friday and I can't wait.
It is black with the carbon fibre aerodynamic pack, door handles and mirrors, handling package, black interior with carbon trim and Neptune grigio mercury alloy wheels. I haven't seen it in the metal yet but I am hoping that it will look fantastic.
Thanks to everybody on here who has given me lots of good advice, even if I haven't listened to all of it(Richard Grace in particular).

I am not sure if it is exactly the same but it is lower and stiffer than the standard car.

Sounds like it. There are three suspension options on the GTS FWIW and this is the hardest.

I have driven a car with this suspension, it is a little firmer than a skyhook equipped car in normal mode but it still very comfortable and it should make the car a bit more fun on the twisties.

Would it not likely be the MC handling pack? Especially likely if the spec sheet shows the Mc Sportline Carbon brochure raided!

I assume so, it only says handling pack on the advert.

Best thing to do is find out which UK Maserati dealership it's come from, then ask them ever so nicely for the original spec sheet of the car (which includes option codes). From there you should be able to find out what suspension setting its got.

Thanks, I will check tomorrow, IIRC the dealer that is selling it had it as a demonstrator, then sold it to a local man who traded it for a new car so they should have the spec sheet.

I got confirmation from the dealer that it does have the MC Handling pack, it will be interesting too see how that works out on the sometimes very challenging Perthshire roads.

Very true, I have learned that to my cost in the past. They gave me a full spec for the car and given that the sales manager chose the specification himself when ordering the car as a demonstrator, I have some confidence that if is correct.

Thanks, I would love to have it now but they are servicing the car and tidying up a minor cosmetic issue so I will just have to wait until Friday, hopefully the weather will be good.
