That’s good news I guess - and all at the Bodyshop of your choice.
Did you get the hire car yet?
They couldn't deliver a car yesterday and I've been down to Milton Keynes and back, so couldn't accept a car today , so I said I'd ring them if I needed one, and not to ring me... while in meetings today they have tried to ring me twice...
So today I have used my 19 year old Pinin, as it is insured for business usage, and done 290 miles in it. Normally don't do that in a month usually used for just local stuff running around.
It's been brilliant, cruised no effort down and back up the M1, comfortable, high upright driving position, loads of glass with excellent visibility, air con, auto and returned 35 mpg. I don't think that's bad doing 70+, shaped like a brick, petrol, and AT tyres fitted!
I wish there was something like it new, shame Mitsubishi didn't keep making it. The new Suzuki Jimny, like the old one, in comparison to the Pinin is just too narrow, agricultural, and slow. The Pinin for its size, especially mine being the SWB, actually shifts along quiet nicely with Mitsubishi fitting the 1.8 16 valve twin cam engine and fancy super select 4wd system too in my particular model.
