Gran Turismo in 'Spectre'?

This is a bit sad I know, but I went to see 'Spectre' yesterday and in the scene where Bond is about to enter the big Spectre meeting and before the car chase through Rome, Bond walks through the car park after having parked his DB10.

Is the final car in the row before he enters the building and is confronted by a henchman barring his entry, a Gran Turismo? The car park is packed full of lovely car obviously, of which we only get a very fleeting glance. But the final car has a familiar shape.....then again, it could just be me.

Well spotted!

How was the film???

I know they always get rave reviews but I never trust them. Never been DC's biggest fans but I have warmed to him over time.

Really want Idris Elba as the next bond. It came up at a lunch party and I expressed my desire for him to be the next bond and was confronted by "a black bond, that wouldn't work!"...without getting into the race thing, why would this be an issue, he's a brilliant English actor perfect for the part.

I was trying to do a quick count of what they had in the carpark in that scene but would need to see it again to be sure. The interesting thing is that bit of 'Rome' was actually Blenheim Palace.

The film is reasonable but given Skyfall was excellent it was never going to live up to that. The Mexico City Helicopter scenes were amazing mind.

Nicola thought it was a Granturismo too but I missed it.

I like the film; as far as DC is concerned in my opinion it's not as good Casino Royale but better than Skyfall & Quantum of Solace. Get comfy though, it's a 2 & a half hour epic - luckily our cinema has an intermission

I thought I spotted it too. The film was pretty good and followed on nicely from Skyfall. Need to see it again really to be sure.

I find that with music too these days, one listen/watch is not enough to really take a view.

I too wondered what they were..and what the car JB rips the roof off. Part of the supercar park scene is in the trailers on YouTube so you can freeze-frame it if you want.

They were saying about having a female Bond the other day . Its political correctness gone mad . Why not make her Chinese aswell ? . And while your at it make the next Wonder Woman an Indian bloke with a beard . And Shaft a ginger disabled person

Black guy could work for JB , but it won t happen . They ll stick to the same type of person as usual . anyway , DC will do another its all just paper talk .

IMO opinion Daniel has lost his zest and it shows in the movie. Skyfall was leaps ahead of Spectre although Christopher Waltz put a good performance in and the fact he didnt die off suggests his return down the line.

I too thought it was a GT in the "big meeting" car park scene.

Idris elba for Bond? No. Never. And not because he is black, but because he just does not have the voice or the gravitas for Bond in my opinion. He was disappointing in his role in Pacific Rim - another film where his character needed to be steely strong but which Idris just did not manage to convey it.
A black Bond is workable though, but I would have said an actor in the Denzel Washington but British mode - and that aint Idris!
