Has anyone changed the stock bulbs in the interior lights to LED ones? If so any links or advice appreciated.

I did this on my Aston - with the colour of the dash lighting it suited it. I'm not wholly sure it would on the interior of the GT unless you get v. warm white LED bulbs.

I'm also not sure there are many/any other benefits...

Don't think there is any error monitoring on interior bulbs from what I've seen on the web.

I haven't contacted the linked company as yet. If you speak with them I'd be interested to hear your findings. :)

The easiest way to do this is just to look in the manual for which type of bulbs are used throughout the interior. They'll typically be bayonet, festoon or capsule type bulbs. Then you just search on Google for an LED equivalent.

Buy them all from the same place as you're more likely to get the same colour temp that way - your eye will tend to notice even slight variations.

The cool white bulbs in the pic you posted will be at least 3k colour temp.

Changing them is usually very easy. Again the manual should help. As will a tool for prising trim open.

Edited to add...have a look here for example bulbs:

6k+ colour temp will probably be a bluey white. But you can get others...at the prices noted it would be worth buying a few colour temps/wattages to see which you prefer and then ordering for the rest of the car. NB LED wattages typically give a lot more light than halogens...a 5W LED can be as bright as a 50W halogen. So don't go too high!

£5 a bulb fitted (handy if you live in Huddersfield) - group discounts available - No CELS on dash

What's not to like ?

Day trip to Huddersfield? ;)

I've been looking through the manual and it looks pretty easy to change the bulbs anyway. I'm going to give it a go myself, I'll have a play this weekend and report back.

I did this on my old Granturismo and they worked just fine. When I did the same with the number plate light it threw up a light fail fault even though the LED replacement had a ballast resistor. I've not tried it again
