Has the insurance write off moved into this thread now?

Surely it deserved its own thread rather than using two for sales :99e3ia:

The car has been collected today by a forum member. Sad to see (and hear) it go but I am sure the new owner will enjoy it. He will probably mention it himself in time.

I though it might be useful to add for future (prosperity), the car also had the following options: Alcantara Blue headlining, coloured seat back, bose, headlight matt black, handling pack, interior carbon pack, Trident stitched headrest & Red Anodised calipers.

I will try and console myself in the Strad!

Hi,
I'm the new lucky owner of Elan's car and thought I would introduce myself.
First of all, I wanted to say that it's been a pleasure to deal with Elan. He is a great guy and made the process very easy and straightforward (and we all know who stressful buying a Maserati can be...).
The car has truly been cherished and beautifully looked after. As Nareman from Nuvola said after the PPI, I really tried to find something wrong with it but I couldn't. I took it for a first spin on country roads this weekend and it was glorious! I'm very much looking forward to my first proper road trips next spring.
In the meantime, I intend to pamper Mazi (my 7 year old son's new nickname for the car!) the way Elan did. The car has been serviced religiously every year and it's now due for a minor service. People tend to rate both AV Engineering and SportsItalia. Any preference between these 2? Also, my in laws live in Staffordshire and that would be quite easy and convenient for me to do the service up there. Are there any highly rated Maserati specialist around there (someone in par with AV Engineering and SportsItalia)?
Many thanks.

I forgot to thank both Richard Grace from Richard Grace cars and Nareman from Nuvola. They have both been absolutely brilliant and incredibly helpful through the whole process. I would have love to buy a car from them but I was looking for something quite unique and very rare (Blue MC shift Facelift GT Sport with the new sport seats and ideally with the MC handling pack... I think I managed to get the only one ever registered in the UK! The Alcantara Blue headlining and interior carbon pack were the double cherry on top!). Although Dickie and Nareman both knew they didn't have the right car for me at the time, they kept answering my questions and provided invaluable advice. I can't recommend them enough and, as it's been mentioned many time on this forum, do give these guy a call if you are in the market for a new Maserati. I know I will!

Congratulations on what surely is a stunning car. You may be limited to SportsItalia for servicing as I believe AV are not taking on any new Maser clients at the moment. Im sure you won’t regret using Matt and the guys at SI anyhow, they do know their stuff.
