Dear Professor Parisien,

The Trofeo Maserati GranTurismo MC at Imola officially opened the 2011 sporting season. It was an exciting first round thanks to the more than twenty cars that appeared at Santerno and the star performance of David Baldi.

Thanks to a convincing one-two, the Tuscan tried to build an early championship lead and beat off Stefano Gai and Manuel Villa in Race 1 and Race 2, respectively.

It was a tight contest between the teams with the third and first place taken by Lorenzo Casé giving Swiss Team the lead from AF Corse and Jolly Club.
