To be fair, the Greeks were up against a really fine football side, one that along with favourites Spain, are touted as likely to win Euro 2012.

Ozil, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Klose, Rues, Badstuber, Khedira - and one of their best players, Gomez, on the bench to start.

To be honest, IMO, the Greeks were lucky they didn't get hammered by more goals. Especially in the first-half.

Just read posts....oh they did qualify (for football and funding).....but by all accountants dropped their defence and submitted to the Germans superior attacking power !!!!!!!

Best start feeling sorry for us. If, and it's a big if IMO, we get past the Italians they will be waiting for us in the semis and I can't see that ending well for us. I reckon it will be a Germany v Spain final. If so, it should be a good match.

Never feel sorry for England..........I want Italy to thrash the pants off them but the thing is when ever I want someone to win the other side usually win....So don't expect the obvious..
