This is terrible news. To me this is one of the saddest pieces of news I've heard in my long years on this planet. Felt much the sane when Syd Barrett died. Still my favourite ever blues guitarist.

Probably one of the best

IMO definitely the best blues guitarist ever. I love Leadbelly, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Derek Trucks, Robin Trowers, Keb' Mo', etc but Peter's talent just seemed so effortless.
