Hi all,
I share a similar passion for all things Maserati, in particular, the GT!
I have been eyeing them from a cautious distance for some time now, and reading the forums etc., but I have a few questions I'd really like to illicit a response on:
1. Value - this is a tough one. How do I think about the 4.2 vs the 4.7 MC Shift for example - where does the parity lie? For example, how much value/price should one add for an MC of the same mileage and year as a standard 4.2?
2. Any thoughts around the depreciation/change in value per 1000 or 10,000 miles?
3. What are the "essential" optionals?
4. How easy is it to get a non Maserati warranty for relatively high mileage vehicles? (40 or 50k plus miles)
5. What are the key "buyer beware" points?
6. How much should I be budgeting typically for maintenance on one of these beauties annually, particularly if its higher mileage?
Thanks all, and apologies for the monster post but I really want to get to grips with this, as I think I am getting very close to committing to one of these beauties! Head, heart and all that good stuff! Also want to try, as far as possible, that I get a decent deal against the idea that I believe all parties (myself and the seller) should walk from the deal happy!
Any and all feedback sincerely welcomed. Many thanks
