Hi all, I have a sloshing water sound when turning the car that seems to be coming from the passenger side area.. checked inside the door and it's dry..
Does anyone know where the AC drain is located? Got a feeling it may be blocked as the car steams up a bit when the blowers are on.
Cheers!

I recall someone else had this problem, can’t remember the solution, pretty sure it was not AC drain though. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with the answer.

I keep getting steamy windows in my QPV and after a bit of investigation have found that my drivers side footwell is rather wet, it seems like it is coming from the far right hand side i.e. near where the bonnet release handle is. Is there a known problem that may be the cause of this?

I have read the linked threads which lead me to this image, could the drain 20 be the problem and if so do you need to remove the windscreen wipers in order to remove the plastic skuttle piece to get to it?

I managed to get my hand to the passenger side drain vent on mine & it was full of crud, however this was in the summer time so was dry (Drivers side clear)
after a bit of squeezing it all fell out but I'm guessing a bit trickier if wet.

Maybe a silly question but how do you get your hand to it, do you need to remove all the scuttle panel ?

no need to remove anything on the Quattroporte you can’t see it you just have feel for it In the general location, I could just about get enough purchase on the end of the tube to squeeze it open.

Thanks I will give this a go once I get the car back home (its currently located elsewhere due to building work at home).

Well I had a go at this today and like you say it was easy to find on the drivers side (is there one on passenger side?), I gave it a good squeeze but it didn’t feel like it was blocked and then with a bit of manipulation I was able to get a finger up it and it seemed nice and clear - which wasn’t what I wanted to find :(

Anyone have any idea of other reasons why I may be getting a wet drivers side footwell ?
