What Phil said. You could identify it quickly with a multimeter and just pulling a couple of fuses..... Or it could be hours and hours to trace.
However, as was said, it's very likely that it's just the battery that needs replacing after 4 years.
I’m going to try to get it in writing from the seller that any battery drainage diagnostic and repair work will be covered by them
Shiltech is in Loughborough. My old car went there twice for variators and service. Jeff knows his stuff.Hi Sam, no offence taken... I’m a complete novice when it comes to high end cars! (I’ve been driving a 320d for the last 10 years lol) But thank you for your feedback... I wasn’t even aware that you could get specialist independent inspections done, but that’s definitely the next step here... the car is based in Retford and I think Manchester is probably the closest location but it’s still approx 1 hour 40 mins away... Are you aware of any other indy’s that could complete the inspection that are closer to Retford? Or is @marios kriticos my best bet?
I second that Jeff and team know their stuff.. Also worth trying Andy at Sheffield Super Car Centre who’s done some work on my cars too, he has worked on many super cars such as MC12, F40s etc.Shiltech is in Loughborough. My old car went there twice for variators and service. Jeff knows his stuff.
Just don't be put off by the surroundings or the (alleged) brothel down the road!Andy at Sheffield Super Car Centre who’s done some work on my cars too, he has worked on many super cars such as MC12, F40s etc.
Looks fine as it is to me, but if you want to add more weight that's up to you. Carbon handles.....meh!Opinion poll - should I get the carbon aero package retrofitted? (I was thinking spoiler, door handles and wing mirror covers)
Or as it’s a grigio, would it look better to keep it stock and maybe get more carbon bits for the interior? (I currently have a carbon wheel, carbon dash and door card trims, but would love to add flappy paddles, the centre console and speedo to the collection!)
thanks!
I’ve never had spacers fitted to a car before, how easy are they to install and do they affect the handling in any way?exterior carbon would suit your car.. but first, spacers
Only when the threads pull out and the wheel goes passed you at 120mphI’ve never had spacers fitted to a car before, how easy are they to install and do they affect the handling in any way?
Can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference to the handling, I’ve had them on for 2 years. Just get decent ones from say H&R in Germany. Very easy to fit, no difference to changing a wheel.I’ve never had spacers fitted to a car before, how easy are they to install and do they affect the handling in any way?
And don't forget to buy the longer bolts if not in the kit..Can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference to the handling, I’ve had them on for 2 years. Just get decent ones from say H&R in Germany. Very easy to fit, no difference to changing a wheel.
