Well spotted Andy , tho a tad high miler for my liking for a 3 year old car ( i know its average miles for a run of the mill) but for a masser thats high for 3 years old , not a bad colour combo either , personally if i was to have preferance on a GT it would have to be in Rosso or Giallo ,tho i'd be happy to have a GTS in any combo, hopefully now there 3 years old parts will come down slightly and be a tad more common , more chance of me getting a lightly donked one , parts prices make it slightly prohibitive if severely hard hit or light widespread damage

regards loz

They've been there over the last few months, but only 2/3/4 of them, plus higher mileage types......very stubborn to drop!!

When I bought my GS 2 years ago, Feb 08, you could get a low miler 4.2GT for £52k (that was the advert price, so sure there was some movement on that price). Ok, those were desperate times, but they have not really dropped much IMHO.

Shame the 4.2 does not live up to much as it would make my next car conundrum very easy to sort.

they all have p, the 430 and M3 and GS is even better value at 30k for a 2006 car where as your paying 50k for a 2007 GT

for me the GT is not worth 20k more than the GS, if i had to have a GT id get the exhaust and lip spoiler to make it look like the S

For me I would rather keep with the Gransport even if there was no extra cost. The Granturism has to be an S or Id rather stick with what I have

A huge leap in price and also bang for buck..............the GS is hard to beat fullstop!

the GT is not all that, slower than the GS, bigger, not sporty, and in many ways the S is the same just little faster....

GS is the best maserati right now, that nad the QP, for the money, obviously if you have 70k burning a hole in your pocket you would look at the S

The GT-S is awesome :thumb:

And IMHO the only way to go Granturismo, the 4.2 is flawed with a lack of power, lack of noise and braking ability (or sometimes lacking brakes altogether).
My 2p would be to wait for the drop and/or save up to get an S, if you get a 4.2 you'll only end up buying an S anyway and losing a load of dosh on the way - Voice of Experience :sad1:

Well said Dan. The GTS by the way was voted the best residule car of of the year. It will continue to hold value quite simply because it is a brilliant car. The Granturismo standard will drop to sub £40k this year

Dan, have you ever had, been in or driven a GS, shame you did not have one first as we could then gauge the real world differences.

I have the perfect solution............ Dan gives us the keys to the GS for the weekend and we in turn give him the key to the Gransport............SIMPLES (WITH AGE COMES WISDOM)

Matt, to answer your question - nope, never had or driven a GS.

I'd certainly be up for a bit of a swap around when we next meet.
I've seen you both drive and would be more than happy for you to have a go, however, the flaw in that plan is that you've also seen me drive...
