GT Vs GS

Zoros, you're a fortnight too late. I sold two Gransport Spyders recently, they're lovely and have their own unique manner, but in my opinion, a GS coupe is a better driver's car. I've driven lots of all of the range as I'm sure you appreciate, and I'd choose Gransport every time. If I was doing long motorway journeys I'd have a GT, but for mixed driving or weekend blasts, a well-sorted Gransport is near perfection.

Agree re Coupe as better drivers car. Dicky is right as ever.

Having said that, the GS Spyder seems to have even more of a sense of occasion every time you get in it.
Love mine.

Did the two Spyders stay local Dicky or will Waltzin Matilda shortly be coming through the Audtorium 200 system?

Both stayed in the UK, one is Robert (RWC on here) and the other went to a good customer of mine from near Scarborough just last week. Not had a call from an Aussie for a good while, exchange rate has seen to that.

Ok good.

How's tricks by the way Dicky?

I'm just gearing up for another road trip in the Spyder.

Still loving it. Just turned 16k miles.

16k total Benny.

Put 11 on in just over 2 years.

06 plate so averaging out at 2k a year so far. Trying to keep mileage down - might need to get a daily Maser?!?

Incidentally, as Dicky namechecked me, I went from a GS to GS Spyder recently. Love them both. They drive quite differently. Not sure if one is better than the other as a driver's car. My coupe felt a little quicker and more composed to me, but the Spyder turns in faster and, of course, you get all that noise up close. One of each would be just about perfect.....

The reduction in composure of the spyder is most likely to be due to the scuttle shake. I just drive through it and don't let it become a problem. The increase in noise is more than worth it IMO.

Just caught up on this and the night's forum posts! I said driver's car, by that I probably mean the handling, certainly not the ride, but handling and rigidity. I do agree with Dave though that the GS Spyder is an occasion every time you drive it. I think it's also down to its rarity and the fact that you're driving something that makes a Veyron look common, same feeling I get when driving an MCV too.
