GTS 2017 wireless CarPlay!

Hi All

I recently came across this device for adding wireless CarPlay functionality to the post 2017 GTS. It works perfectly and means you don’t need to plug your phone in to get CarPlay. Plug the dongle into the port, link your phone with the dongle once via Bluetooth and that’s it. No more cable needed again. I hope this helps another GT owner. Here is the link to Amazon

Still need a cable to charge your phone though if using Waze or Spotify etc. so never seen the benefits of wireless carplay tbh.

The benefit being if you don’t need to charge your phone you don’t need a cable? Maybe depends on your phone and length of journey. Regardless, hopefully someone will find it useful.

I wonder if this would work with the system in the Continental. Right now I get phone function by BT if I don't plug it in, but when I do plug it in, it all goes iPlay. And disconnects my iPod.
I'd rather have the phone plugged in for charging and the iPod for music.

Pretty sure that won't work though
