GTS dropping into neutral

Hi , many thanks all for your help.gotta nother problem lol .........granturismo 4,7 mc shift is going into nuetral from 3/4 gear once or twice when cold ..then drives normal when reached its temp........any ideas?

When does it do it? When you have been driving a while or when you haven’t used the car for a while? Do you use a battery conditioner?

Hi it does it once or twice when cold 3/4 gear to nuetral .......use the car most days .....got genuine maserati batt conditioner/charger ....... on 35,000 miles

last readout says its got 30/% left................it may be new clutch job

It could be that, or it could be that the potentiometers are getting contaminated. The only way of knowing is plugging it into a suitable machine.

Some people have had this after their cars have been stood for a while on a battery conditioner. Try disconnecting it the night before you drive it and see if it stops.

You are right though, at 35k miles, you are right in the clutch replacement zone I’m afraid.

It could well be, the wear % needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, it cannot be fully relied upon
