Thats what i thought but it doesnt seem to be missing any and the yellow marker pen/paint threw me.

No. Had a good look round earlier and cant see anything missing.

The part you mentioned is a dome shaped cap.

Im sure it will come to light what it is at some point.

What about the top of the seat belt? Looks like a cap clips over it.

Both the top fittings are still there as well.

Only thing i can think of is its from behind the door card and its a cap from the end of the spindle guide and pinged out somehow.

It’s probably fallen out the mechanics pocket when he was lying head under the pedals fixing something
