Living the high life hey Dem.
Tell me Al do you ever get sick if the heat....one baking hot day after another?
Ok we all know about the English weather but the seasons are so varied. I would not want to give up Spring in the UK for anything, clement weather and green and lush at the same time. Summer is OK but never quite gets going and too much rain but it makes going abroad all that more special.
The dark Autumn evenings and the trees turning golden. It's just the dark Winter days when the light fades at 3pm that get me but we do also get snow too.
Glad your coming round to Apple Al, it's great stuff.
People knock Apple but you need rover member without them we would not have these fancy phones and tablets.
They are going to get stuck onto TV's next year, can't wait.
You can tell they have backed off on the phones and see their new market elsewhere, the sign of a firer hinting and innovative company.
Hi Matt,
Well I will let you into a very well kept secret which apart from the locals i.e. 22 Million ish... others know..
"Tell me Al do you ever get sick if the heat....one baking hot day after another?"
It simply is not hot here everyday, yes parts of Aus are very hot, mostly the centre. You must have heard of the joke "4 seasons in one day" Sydney Folk are always having a laugh at us in Melbourne for this one,
We actually get a lot of seasonal weather,,, even in the middle of summer we can get days which are just 15c you never bet on the weather here unless you want to lose money..
I took the car for a spin the other afternoon it was only 22 ish,,, a very nice and good temperature... all through the twisty back hills around where I live and with the larini's bouncing of the surroundings it was a wonderful very fast 45 minute drive....
Unfortunately All the europeans seem to think its a hot dry place which simply is not true.... I see hundereds of green trees everyday.. and lots of grass... not your english trees and grass, but beautiful in their own way.
I'll have to send you some pics to prove it!!..
