I'd have to see them in the flesh to comment, but I reckon the second pic would look better with either black 'diffuser' fins or delete them altogether.
A car's appearance is very subjective, I quite like a subtly modified look.
But there's no accounting for taste... Don't forget I have viper stripes on my Elise

I feel on the third link, they wanted to make the 4200 look like the F430, at least the rear bumper..

Without the fins it's essentially the same design as a GT back bumper.
