Headlight Indicator Tint?

So mine being a 2008 has the orange indicator lenses on the headlights (not sure what year it went to clear), has anyone used ting film to darken these? Or done anything to make it clear? I already have the black housing inside (seen posts of doing this).

Making it clear is going to be difficult, but many have tinted then using window film.

Interesting as i just rang a tinting company who said it was a different type of film which he would need to get, going to ring back end of the month

Well, it might well be a different film, the effect is much the same however.

Yes, I think it was.

I did it. Just took it to a local window tinting company. Cost £50. Was perhaps a little too dark but I preferred it to the orange. Makeshift bought the car and removed them. Full circle.
