Headlight washer cover issue

I've just noticed this morning that the driver's side cover for the washer jet is out of alignment. I tried using the jets to see if it will return to it's correct position but no joy. I'm home alone today so no way I can get the other half to use the washer whilst I play around with it when it is open (if it does open when stationary) and I don't want to prise it too much as I've read they have a tendency to fall off and costly to replace. Has anyone got any tips on the best way to sort this or confirm what I want to do is the best way.

Oh..and for some reason my profile picture never displays even though it should be small enough. Am I doing something obvious there as well?
Many thanks.

Sounds like it maybe coming off one side. You need someone to operate washers whilst you grab it and reattach it. I secured mine with a small tie wrap, this does not interfere with the operation of the jets. I lost one of mine it cost me £80 with painting to replace.
