That roll over must have been fatal.
Even back then I can't believe no one thought that a roll over bar would have been a good idea.
But I guess we look at such things with H&S in mind today as almost second nature.

Sterling Moss's book gives a good insight to the mind "even then". He explains that they had just emerged from a war where millions died, everyone was touched by the carnage, it was just accepted that people die. A few more or less didn't raise any eyebrows.

Saw a Ferrari roll like this in Goodwood Revival about 4 years ago right in front of Sophie and I.

We both thought he was a gonner, but once the car was righted he was removed with just cuts and grazes...even caught it on my camera.

It was just after the chicane, where some of the best action can be seen at Goodwood...the bush did not survive btw!

He got a little bit of a slap after the OSR hit the grass, hit the front into the barrier and spun/flipped
