Funnily enough, I posted some stuff on this forum a while back. They seem a good bunch of guys. Never heard anything from the guy in spain though. I am interested as to how his "project" is going. After all there can never be two many 250's
on the road. I am biased though.

I must apologise first for not through this thread to see if this has been posted earlier, but further toAndyP250F 12inches to one foot scale model, an Italian Onario Campana, has built not one but two half-scale (6inches to a foot) 250F models, one of which is the Eldorado (my fave!), fully working with motorcycle engines but a bit of a squeeze to drive methinks

And I didn't know where else to put this link, but this thread seemed best

Hi Guys, been a while. out of the country quite a bit, so not been doing much car wise. I finally got the video of a stunt we did a while back with a tiger moth. Health and safety were not invited. Hope you like it.

Blooody **** Andy, that's a seriously good video!!! The shot between 1 minute 14 and 1 minute 18 is just breath-taking - besides your beautiful car, what a sky!! Is the chapter 1 music Tom Newman?

Thanks for the comments. I wish I could claim the video, but alas not. When the 'stunt' was planned, CBS got wind of it, and sent a couple of guys with some 'camera gear'. I dont know much about camcorders, but theirs looked quite expensive. I can see why now. The full version should be pretty good when they've sorted it. Turned out a lot better than I had hoped.

Much as I loved it Andy, I was a bit confused by the Beemer. Was it a contemporary nod to the engine in your 250?

Ha Ha. Actually, the beemer was a 330i, a still shot camera car. The idea was, and i quote: ' just nail it, we'll keep up and out of shot' they didnt manage either. made me smile.

You should be very very pleased with that, what a signature to your achievements!

I like the shot with the old film footage projected onto the side of the car.

Keep up the great work, what's next on the horizon form your shed?

Thanks matt. I have two orders for complete rolling chassis, destined for the US. I am about to put my Tipo up for sale. its sad, but it was always the plan once the project is up and running. The chance is still there of borrowing a 450S chassis to copy,
and do a deal on a complete aluminium body. That would be a complete one off, the body alone would be £35-45K to repeat. Fingers crossed. Apart from that, just the normal. Had a run on Ferrari 360 exhausts recently for some reason. Its a strange world out there at the moment.

450s, 'The Monster' as it was known.

Fabulous car, is there any chance of getting an Italian engine in this one, was it not a derivative of the Bora V8?

Suppose the easiest and cheapest route would be a 4200 Manuals running gear maybe as you could pick that cheap?
