Hi Folks,

this is a newbie from Cologne, Germany. Just finished my first Maserati season.
Love my Spyder - it was a great half a year <Biggrin> Is the CC vs handshift also so much discussed here. I loooove the CC!!!

Can't wait salt and snowish is gone to reboot again.

Found your forum when surfing the MaseratiLife in US. I'm joining a German Maserati forum which has pretty nice members but may be of limited value for you since almost all is German only.

I want to go to Goodwood someday, should be amazing. Is it really so difficult to get some visitor tickets?

Let me know if some of you guys consider to come to see or drive Nurburgring.

Re Nurbrurgring, not that my Spyder would be racer, but driving the Nordschleife even in modest speed stays a remarkable experience.

Re Goodwood - to be precise, do I have to plan with long lead time or can I go spontanously? What will I be missing if I don't bring the Spyder?

I understand there is a great 'Classic' meeting at the Nürburgring - Eberhard_QP09 has mentioned it to me. Very interested in going to that...

Goodwood - best if you can commit to coming earlier rather than later, as there are limited places available on some of the things we are going to be doing around the weekend. For just the Goodwood day, you need an advance ticket - it's not possible to buy entry on the day. You will be missing driving with over 50 other Maseratis from UK, France and Germany if you don't bring the Spyder....

There are some more, first in June, but this is the biggest. Typically DMC (Deutsche Maserati Club) will have some presence there.


Goodwood, lead time of let's say one month sufficient for a general ticket? I'm somehow reluctant to thouroughly plan my private life.....

Been a couple of times to the Nurburgring, but never driven it myself!
First time in my then Lotus Elise, weather appalling and lots of closure due to accidents. Stayed overnight in Cologne on the way down.
Second time I had sold my Elise, and had not picked up the Maser from the dealer, so hitched a lift with some local friends who took over a genuine rally BDA Escort.
Really enjoy the atmosphere.
