Hi, Thanks for your kind words. The filming took all day, was good fun with a twist at the end that Mike wanted to do away from their normal handshake and 'deal'. On the day, they had invited around 10 supercars - including a rare Aston, Lambos, Ferrari, Mclaren.
Looks like you had a fantastic day.

Sincere welcome to the circus John.
I have what looks like a very close match or the same colour of interior in my Granturismo and it is a very nice place to be.
That shade of grey really does suit the car.
For no fee. The forum can signpost you to marriage counselling, debt management and in extremis, a fast private jet to a non-extradition treaty country.
Also, you will have to remember to use your Maserati responsibly. If you are a six in the looks department. In the 4200, you are now an eight. And if like me, you are usually an eight or nine (cough, cough), then you must prepare yourself to being approached and on occasion, propositioned by members of the opposite sex. Anywhere and everywhere. At times, queues will form. Of women wanting desperately to bear your children.
Flipping the bird will become a thumbs up with smiles and you will always be let out at junctions. Indeed, other drivers will stop and halt traffic, to let you out, so they can breathe in the sweet fumes that you leave in your wake and treat themselves to the aural symphony broadcast by the four musical instruments at the rear.
Received wisdom is that it can be a good idea to keep early journeys short. Say around a minute or so. To let your neighbours get used to seeing the car and acclimatised to the feelings of euphoria it engenders. Gradually increase their exposure until you can reach the end of your street.
DeBretts has a chapter dedicated to all things Maserati and we all find it helpful if new members read and adopt this guidance, as it
helps manage expectations, for all concerned.
At this time, being the custodian of a Maserati does not entitle you to adopt a title before your name or letters following.
However, whilst I cannot say more at this time, we do expect this oversight to be rectified soon by our Sovereign in due course.

Welcome, enjoy and participate.

However, the value of these services is extremely suspect, and possibly even worthless ;)

More like consumption.

propositioned by members of the opposite sex

Wait, what? Where do I apply for this?

TBH most of us already have letters following, If you don't perhaps you should sell ;)

Seriously bloody good post, sir!

Hi,
I've recently acquired a 4200 (as pictured below on set at Castle Combe). Its being featured on TVs Wheeler Dealers later this year. I came from a Ferrari 360 which was a nightmare to take out (too much attention). This car has it where it counts but without the attention!

Good looking car John and the programme showed off the car really well, I'm sure you were chuffed to watch the work being done - congrats again!

Had the odd ‘small willy’ comment, but she’s part of the family now, and that’s what all those haters don’t understand.
Is it the small willy or the 360 that's part of the family, Brian?

John, very well done! Be good to have a film star in the group. Mostly it's just old bald / grey blokes and a girl named Harry.

Whose is the green Vantage roadster in the first shot you posted?

It was a fine looking car, congrats @4200 . Fairly superficial description of the work, as is the case with WD these days, focused on buttons, actuator and rear toe link bushes which we’ve covered many times here. The footage of lasering the buttons was super cool.

It should drive a bit of interest in the cars which can only be a good thing.
