High miles?

I've owned Maseratis' for a quarter of a century and each one has had its value decimated by mileage if that helps?

Unsorned my Granturismo today so ready for another enjoyable season of collapsing residuals. Still worth it though.

My GT had over 100k. My Ghibli has 85k on it.
There are cars on the continent with >150k

As soon as you drive out of the dealership it’s high miles based on depreciation.

Joking aside most Maserati’s only get used for the fun sunny days so most have low miles so not sure what you would say high miles are but I always think high miles are better than no miles as these cars need to be driven and they are all the better for it.

Based on your ownership, I wonder what's considered high miles for Maserati'?
Well anything over 20k for some is deemed high mileage. Bonkers giving the comparable age. Mine is around 68k and 2013 so 6181 fully serviced miles a year.. oooo scary!

Everyone’s view is different, but being too obsessed with a very low miles only Maserati/ferrari, or whatever ‘exotic’ in fact, could be the difference between owning one and never owning one.
If you can afford the very best 1 owner, low miles car then fill your boots though!

However, when you’re in the old people’s home showing pictures of the Maserati you used to own to the grandkids, I’m pretty sure they won’t say “that’s amazing, but was it a low mileage, 1 owner example?’

I wonder what the highest mileage Maser is on SM? Sorry Bebs, your 360 doesn't count.

I've 85k odds on mine, but second engine at 40k due to end float, make of that what you want. I'd rather that than a 20k miler waiting for it all to happen!

My first 4200 was on 112,000 when I sold it and it was going Great had it for 4 years with only minor niggles and drove it all year all weathers parked on the driveway but that was 14 years ago now.

One here in the NL done 164,000 Miles for the price that you could buy 2 for in the UK.
I found this offer on AutoScout24.

Mileage: 264,400 km
First registration: 06/2002
Final price: € 18
,500.-

@Bebs is showing us the way with the mileage of his Ferrari
Just planned two more road trips this summer. One to Denmark and one to the Harz region in Germany and from there down to France for a few weeks. It will definitely get some miles put on this year too

Art to look at maybe ?
Yes, that's not a bad shout. If you actually *look* at it. Certainly I have seen pieces of art that had I several million quid I'd have bought, and just looked at. But most garage queens aren't parked in the living room (some are), but tucked away under covers and carcoons in storage facilities, or even just the garage.

YMMV ;)
