How to disconnect tracker?

Hi All

Does anyone know how to disconnect the tracker on the GT? I remember someone mentioning it’s simple to disconnect the lead that charges the tracker battery…..?

if its a GT/QP then you have to join a wire or the car will not start. 4200 just unplug it.

Hmmm. I unplugged the power on my QP unit from under the rear shelf when replacing it. No issues...

Maybe depends on year?
I tried to take mine out on my 2013 GT Sport, and when I disconnected it, as Matt said, the car wouldn't start and I had gearbox error.
