I agree Dan... TBH every time I see a new post on this thread I wince a bit, as I’m slightly embarrassed by it.This is a weird thread. After skimming through I've made a few observations;
There are people persisting to try and make a point that there's not enough discussion about Maserati, in between posts discussing Maserati.
The chap that started the thread stating that he's going to have a digital detox was last active in the last half hour.
The person that pretty much kicked off this meltdown with a very public flounce is now back and commenting.
There is no clique, unless you make a donation to charity to join the clique. But there is no clique. (taps nose)
Some people have an amazing, dry sense of humour that a lot of people completely don't get and then get all upset about nothing.
One of the people that has been bullied the most, abused the most, has silently moved away without anyone noticing. And clearly the place is no better for it.
Other than that. No complaints, carry on.
For me, the issue is not really about on-topic, or off-topic posts... I think some of the non-car related stuff is fine, and helps to make this a community.
The bit’s I don’t like is when people choose to express their views by ridiculing or belittling the views of others... or when they refuse to accept that there’s any possibility that a view contrary to their own could ever be valid... I’m really hoping that the forthcoming code of conduct or whatever it is going to be called will help with this, and for now I’m picking which threads I choose to open, and am experimenting with the Ignore option...
On that topic, I have a question - if someone replies to a post by someone you have ignored (and quotes the original post) do you see their reply?
