This thread cracks me right up.
Two parallel conversations.
One about car insurance.
The other, about meat pasties.

To touch on the mundane first. Aren't limited mileage policies at least in part, about risk?
As in. The less you're on the public highway. The less opportunity that public has to commit
crimes that ought to attract long sentences.
On Bridies. The Angus coast was a revelation to me, when I drove up it some years ago.
The beaches are sublime and for the most part empty.
In the seventies, when we only had three television channels. Waiting for the Forfar score
amidst the Scottish football results could be the high point of a dreary winter Saturday in
Northern Ireland.
Until she retired last year. A wonderful local baker produced, amongst many treats, the most
perfect flaky pastry pasties that I've tasted anywhere. From a tiny bakery, in a tiny village on the
North Coast of Northern Ireland.

Had my insurance company send a letter reading we will not be offering you a renewal policy the year
so i rang and was told there not insuring my car group this year , dig deeper and the voice the other end said if i had a claim they would not be able to get the parts

Limited mileage policies are the same as limited meat pasties. Less risk of something nasty happening either at the front or rear.
