Oh ffs it was filtered out because it is a Centennial edition and I just had the MC Stradale ticked. My bad
If you filter on Autotrader by ‘MC Stradale’ you’ll find 4 incorrectly listed Granturismo MC’s and one MC Stradale which is mine. I’m trying to get Autotrader to sort their errors out, but if you report it as a fraudulent listing (and any other cars incorrectly listed) it may get sorted sooner. I’ve been trying for 3 months and they said 2 weeks ago they were sorting it and would ‘close the case’; I asked them to leave it open until they’ve actually sorted it.

I just reported them all

A fantastic car that any member of the Maseratisti would be happy to own.
But right now, I’m thinking of a Porsche 968 CS. Go figure!?!
Funny how our whims take us from place to place.

I think Dicky is missing a trick not showing the car from above.

A proper Rocky shot would show the roof decal and the car would sell instantly.

I have just sent this to AutoTrader complaints. Anthony James told me Maserati had told them their car was a Stradale.. ''You have allowed 5 Adverts for a Maserati Granturismo to be advertised as a MC Stradale. A genuine MC Stradale does not have a Gearstick( See Wikipedia), The only genuine advert is the car from the Maserati Guru and Expert, Richard Grace. They need to be removed as they are Fraudulent advertising. Their Correct title is MC Sportline NOT MC Stradale''

Thanks for adding that pressure to them. They’ve told me they’ll sort it today, but future ones will always be incorrect as they have the wrong code on them from Dvla when uploading to the Autotrader IT system. All they need to do is change the parameters so that post 2017/67 nobody can list one as there aren’t any Stradales registered and then the first ‘Granturismo MC’s’ come along. So if it’s 67 onwards it has to be an Granturismo MC or a Granturismo Sport, with the only special edition being the Nerissimo Edition which is just black options.

LATEST FROM AUTOTRADER TODAY RE FAKE STRADALES

Hi M,
Your request has been updated:
Good afternoon, thankyou for your response.

The vehicle data are tackling the issue as we speak to find a resolution. We hope to get this rectified as soon as possible.

Ultimately as we are a self service platform, the responsibility lies with the seller to make sure they are advertising correctly. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor every advert that goes onto our site to determine whether the description is accurate.

As mentioned in my last email, we are aware of the issue regarding the MC/MC Stradales and are looking for a fix soon.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards,
George

LATEST FROM AUTOTRADER

Hi M,
Your request has been updated:
Good morning. Thankyou for your patience regarding our response.

I appreciate your concern regarding the matter. As mentioned, this is something that is being heavily investigated to come to a resolution. The initial fix has turned out to be more complex than originally anticipated, which is causing a delay to get this rectified.

Please keep an eye on the website for any updates for the MC/MC Stradales, as these should hopefully be updated within the near future.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kind regards,
George

Are sellers able to “edit” the details once Autotrader has “automatically” input them incorrectly?

If so, then it’s not really an Autotrader problem and down to the sellers to check and edit accordingly.
