Hi Adam, I'm now the owner of an SL55 AMG. It's got awesome power and is frankly a more comfortable place to sit on long journeys but as an overall experience it's vanilla compared to the naga chili of a Maser.

Could tell it was a Merc form the way you described it...Hope you enjoy her Stu....

Hiya guys,
I though I should introduce myself and hopefully put stu's mind at rest and assure him Gino is still in good hands.
I am gino's new owner and as promised to stu I intend to do my very best to keep the car in immaculate condition.

I have never owned a Maserati before I have gone the other way round from Stu, I came from big fast german Audi to the maserati. It is a completely different car to drive a lot more precise and focused I'm loving every minute of it so far.

As Stu said I joined "the other side" sorry! Is this the forum to use then?

Is there any other manual owners on here?

Hope to chat more with you all in the future
Regards
Steve

Morning Steve and welcome to the forum. How nice to see a car pass from one enthusiast to another. Gino is a much admired example and you'll have lots of fun with it. Any questions, please just ask.....

Happy Maserati motoring.

Warm welcome mate , All on here , were the other side Steve , at the time it wasn't providing what was required ,basically the brains and the doers jumped ship and started their own under the guidance and ownership of Mat Conaero) , a Maserartisti to the core , its never looked back, great bunch of guys and phenominal growth , a wealth of info to make members ownership easier , we look forward to your input and experiences and its a great place for a bit of light hearted banter when you have time to kill

They alright cars but little boring as they only autos.....they fast in a straight line....

well, I do have semi-auto buttons no the wheels and using that mode certainly makes for more involved driving. It's more the overall feel that's a little grey...

Such a lovely car and excellent value at the moment.

Well Loz, at this stage I'm still hanging around here. You know that feeling when the leaving party your company's thrown for you is coming to and end and the time's come for everyone else to get on with their work and you don't really know what to do with yourself? That's how I feel right now. When I've got my self together I'll go and look at the AMG forum(s) and report back what they're like. I fear I may feel like a fish out of water.
