I'm in the US and in the market for a QP V. Please give me some advice.

I have been researching quite a bit and have determined most of the things I am looking for in a QP except one. I keep going backward and forward on whether I want Duoselect or Automatica. Some time ago I had an '99 F355 with the F1 shift and I really enjoyed it, tbh. I recently tried a 2005 QP with Duoselect and found it to be very underwhelming. It could be that it wasn't set up properly, but the gear change was very slow and physically threw me forward while waiting for the clutch to re-engage. Is this common or is something maladjusted ? (other than me, lol).
Those who know, do you think I should go for the Duoselect or the Automatica? All opinions, advice and comments are welcome.

Thanks very much

I have a DS and it doesn't do that, very smooth and responsive (bit cranky when cold mind).

To fix would need adjusting by an MD or Indy with an SD3 reader. Or replacing as well..

DS is slow and clunky and won't last long in traffic or reversing up hill, if it was any good they wouldn't have binned it and switched to a proper gearbox.
ZF all the way for me.

Have you ever driven a properly set up one?

That's the bit I liked best about the 4200 , that aggressive thump in the back gear change, I know they softened it in the later cars but the one you've driven doesn't sound right.
