Don't feel that way or you will end up wearing Lycra and riding a bike. The problem is the longer it is off the road the more likely it is I’ll sell it. It’s the reason I didn’t have another Alpina, the weird contractual arrangement between Alpina and Sytners meant that Alpina parts supply was a right pain. Doesn’t exist on the continent and you can’t speak to Alpina direct because of the contract in the U.K.
I’m also tired of working on cars, I don’t enjoy it anymore. In fact I’m not even sure I enjoy cars either.

Did not know that, thank you... have been considering an Alpina for the wife and Sytner are not the easiest to work with
Fingers crossed you found the cause of the leak!
Wasn’t sure how to word the question.
On mine there is a wall of sealer that basically enclosed the area where wing, bulkhead, a pillar meet so no water can escape from the clip or drain hole. Has yours got any sealer here beyond what you’d expect to cover any seams?
Hope that’s clearer.

That’s what I was going to do. My tin of seam sealer is grey.Matt same as on inner wings, they must seal seams and then spray Matt coating.
