Is it or isn't it a GS?

Visually it's a GS, but for the mechanics we'd need a detailed spec. Spring settings, roll bar, ECU mapping, cats, gearbox settings etc. I suspect it's neither, but a model variant between the 4200 and GS Spyders. Bits of both.

No its not a GS....The Anniversary was a model built to sell a few more Spyders..Then the GS came out......A nice looking car but not worth 35k...A proper GS Spyder can be had for close to that.

Not a GS Spyder, but nice car, that was for sale at Graypaul Notts about 10 months ago, new owner obviously got bored.

It has the GS interior...not the regular spyder interior...in the US it was called a GS Spyder 90th Anniversary. 90 made for North America and 90 for Europe

JP, Have you ever come across the mechanical spec? All the visuals definitely are GS, but I'd be interested to know whether it also had the GS mechanical / handling mods? I've searched the UK club pages and also Enrico's, but can't find anything conclusive.

Miles, posted the US spec a few weeks ago and the power was the same as the 4200 not GS...I remember when they came out and I'm 98% sure it was just a make over as celebrate the Anniversary..It came out before the GS so was a sort of taster off what was to come....Within a month or so the GS was released.....This is not a GS....

JP never knew that, so they made 180 in total? i thought it was 90 for the whole world, think there is only 2 in the U.K.

They struggled to sell as the GS, in Coupe form, came out straight after and it made the Anniversary look a like over priced...........

The owner of on MF, I remeber him coming on saying he'd bought it.

IIRC it was at GP for c£38k. I think he's done well if he sells the car for £36k, effectively losing the cost of the warranty and nothing more in that time.

To get back onto thread track....I note that it has all the trimmiings of the GS, Seats, Wheels, Body Kit...but the main points that make me think it is GS spec is that it has GS running hight and GS exhausts.

If he can sell it for 36K then fair play, but i think it should be up for about 32K, you can get a GS Spyder for under 40K now so i think 36K is being greedy.

If he can sell for that then he can turn water into wine.....He could if someone was uneducated and thought it was a GS....
