Dunno if you saw this but the Italian government recently bought 19 Maserati supercars despite austerity cuts!!

Good to see they're taking it seriously........or are they just trying to stimulate the economy???

Another astonishing stat from Italy. The state pays an estimated €2 billion a year on 30,000 chauffeur-driven Alfa Romeos, Maseratis and Audis with tinted windows for their politicians.

Bella bella, Wattie

Think those politicians might be on roller skates after all this is finished!!

God Bless the Italians.

There are lots of things they do well. And others.........

The paradox that is Italy. Bit like their cars.

Do I still want to return back to an Italian saddle one day?

Is the Pope Italian?...hold on......

Si!

Apparently, politicians are allowed to buy their cars for a nominal €1 when they leave office. One of the perks of having their nose in the trough.
