Well almost 4 months after I decided to buy the car I am happy to say I collected it on Saturday from the compliance workshop and I haven't stopped smiling since! As the Melbourne owners know I didn't sleep a wink on Friday night and was up at 5:30am to head off and collect the car at 7am. I've put a picture below but will get some better ones once I have had chance to clean the dust off (those ships must be very dusty places!).
Initial thoughts apart from WOW are that the car is fantastic, it will be heading in for a professional detail just to get rid of some shipping dirt and a minor scratch but will then be like new! I covered almost 700km over the weekend which was a great way to get to know the car, and even had the top down thanks to the glorious Melbourne winter we are having at present.
Next steps are to get the exhaust upgraded to really free up that engine noise. I test drove a car with Tubi back boxes and loved the sound so I will likely go down this path, (any tips for the cheapest place to buy as they cost a fortune over here in Australia?). I'll probably also get the FD DBW module as well but that might have to be a Christmas present to myself
