I’m not sure if this has been picked up on another thread, but I had an email today from HR OWEN telling me that they’ve purchased Joe Macari and the premises.

Maybe he’s retiring. Another one swallowed up by hedge fund/investment group foreign owners.

I used both for servicing and warranty work. Both very friendly and accomplished dealers!

Yes I saw that on their web site but I was not convinced, is an establish independant and why would they sell.
Received phone call from HRO as I queried it and they confirmed.

I find it strange he hung on as long as he did. I thought he would have sold up for retirement several years ago. (This is me assuming it was still Joe himself that owned - and has now sold - the business.)
