Congrats Matt. Assuming you're bringing it to the xmas do, I look forward to seeing it. My nephew Aj has been itching to get back in a Massie since he passed on his GTS a few years ago and is eyeing a GS too.

commercials are all about legals Drew....no real qualifying needing or chasing mortgages etc...doesn't need to pay 2%

Shocked to see a photo of my Spyder in this thread although i'm not sure about "the made a bit" I should have negotiated harder :)

I never buy cars on credit, something I did pickup from the old man. On the other hand I won't be retiring soon, a past divorce saw to that, so well done you

Appreciate that mate - it was more a comment on your amusing choice of phrase, than a literal response.

agents can be *******

Speaking as an ex commercial agent who deals with them all the time, I couldn't agree more. However, if you are renting space out I would generally expect to pay 10% of the annual rent as a fee.

The thing about commercial is that these guys do this all the time and will know which occupiers are in the market and should be able to deal with all the tyre kickers and time wasters. They should save a lot of messing about on your part if they are any good.

The market went up between buying it an selling it. Next time we have a beer, Ill tell you what I paid for it but you will need to be sitting down :)

I did put 100 hours labour into it getting it back to the condition you took it in.

The guy I use, sold me the unit, found renters initial and charges one months rent plus VAT as a fee, I can't argue with that.

I suspect I might not want to hear unless you are offering a retrospective discount :)

Good news, Matt, well done mate. Mine will be mine in May. Well, just a small balloon standing in the way. Looking forward to it!

Great looking car, parked in front of what looks like a very nice house!
One of the reasons for me choosing a new Ghibli was the little known zero percent finance deal Maserati were offering, which made a more expensive Ghibli a cheaper proposition than a cheaper new Jaguar XF. Now all I am doing is saving hard to pay the balloon in 20 months!!
The worsening situation in the trading sector in the 'City' means that balloon feels more like a balloon of the 'lead' variety, and is never far from my mind. So being clear of finance is always a great relief. Although as has been said, its a means to an end, and certainly made the car I am so proud to own a possibility.
Anyway congratulations!!!
Regards
Keith
