Somebody has cherished that through the years.

And I thought people who bought cars as garage queens, rather than using them, were mad!

lydia maserati?? ill put a bid in

Dem,
As its a 1970's model, by now she may not be quite as pristine as she once was.
The bodywork may need some attention, probably a few loose bits (some bits may be missing altogether!), in need of some tlc.
As for whether she is rusty...?!

Enjoy,
David

Dem we'll put you forward to remove part of her dash to expose her diagnostic socket , then get out your Sd3 and plug your self in , be sure to let us know the results , we may just be able to give you a few pointers where you might be going wrong ,

On older models there are a couple of different sockets make sure you pick the right one , otherwise you may not understand the results

Loz, what a great way with words you have...

At that age there could be a blowing from the exhaust as well.

Make sure she's well lubricated, but even so she may need the odd jump start, oh and for Pete's sake don't back her into the garage... :)
