Just installed aluminum pedals from Ultimate Pedals...

I just finished installing a set of aluminum pedals from Ultimate Pedals. The installation went well, with only one minor problem with the top bolt of the gas pedal. The bar the pedal rests on does not provide any room for a center position bolt and instead I had to off-set the bolt on the right-hand side. The aluminum pedal still fits flush against the gas pedal.

For the foot rest, I decided to screw it directly through the carpet and into the sheet metal using the sheet metal screws provided by Ultimate pedals. I've read most people prefer to use velcro for fear of drilling through a wiring system or similar components located behind the drivers compartment, but I decided to go for it. As you can see in the photos, I used a 1/8" bit and put two small holes on the far right side of the plastic foot rest and then used two sheet metal screws provided in the package to screw in the aluminum foot rest on the far right side. Two is all it needed as even though it's only secured along one edge, it's extremely tight against the body of the car.

I used frosted anti-slip for the clutch, brake, and foot rest and frosted smooth for the gas pedal.

Yes, I looked specifically for a manual when I was in the market for a Maserati. I like the look of the GrandSport, but I didn't want to give up the manual transmission.
