My only comment would be that it hasn’t been around long, the earliest review was in June. If the product works better than their spelling on the website you will be on a winner.

Lanoguard is not meant to be very durable- needs topping up every-12 months

I sprayed Lanoguard on my 4200 last year. It's quite easy to use, although obviously quite messy. I bought cheap hooded overalls which can be chucked in the bin after.

It goes on nicely and seems to creep well. It darkens any lighter rust areas but this allows you to keep an eye on any areas of surface rust. Apparently you can mix it with Graphite powder if you want a black finish.

I reckon it depends how much and in what conditions you use the car as to whether it needs redoing in 12 months. Limited dry use and I suspect it would easily last 2 years. Mine is still well coated after 9 months.

I guess once up on stands it took about 1 1/2 hours to do the whole underside, so not too bad. It's useful in that you can spray everything as it isn't going to attack rubbers, wires etc.

I'm fairly happy with it.

Forgot to mention, I also took off the wheel arch guards and sprayed behind them. As they are protected by the guards I think they wouldn't need re-doing for some years.

Anything helps TBH to stop the rot. We use Kurust but I’m sure it all works much the same. I would then go over the top with stonechip (not the one with added wax) then Waxoyl over the top. Just make sure you allow a day to dry between applications or it won’t stick.

We use stonechip underseal which dries to a rubbery finish and not sticky/waxy
what do you use, I've been using tetrosyl stone chip for donkeys years, great finish and replicates manufacture look especially when using the 1lt tins with a stone chip gun

A friend of mine is using lanoguard, applies it every year to the underside including suspension and steering components on his classic.
It’s certainly protecting the car whilst not retracing from it’s immaculate appearance.

Yes we use this but in cans. We did use the compressor propelled one as pictured but the gun keeps clogging, it’s a right pain.

We also use these, much the same:

Resurrecting an old thread....has anyone used this since the last post in 2020 ?
I've had it applied on my GT. It's had decent longevity since I had it applied 2 years ago. The only area's it needed topping up recently was the jacking points and the fuel line steel guard plate. Apart from that the subframe etc look intact.
