After reading all the info on here, I had the Larini's fitted at Giallo on Thursday and what a fantastic drive back to Kingston.
They sound so much better than any of the videos, only regret is, wish I had done this sooner.
This is the first time I used Giallo and was very impressed by the service and quality, after reading the reviews here. Have also booked my annual and mot for Jan with them.
A great forum for info and advice. Tony

I have them fitted to my 4200 and just love it, now thinking of having the centre section done with the H pipe

Total bill from the garage was £1975.06, I supplied the O rings from Eurospares for £75.00.

The cost also included 2x £75.00+vat for the exhaust flanges, mine were ok but a bit rusted so said might as well replace them. Apparently Maserati don't make these anymore, however they had these manufactured.

Boxes were £1310.00 + vat.

I've been deliberating for months but decided if I didn't like them they are very easy to sell. However they are staying :)

Tony is there a reason you went to Giallo rather than Autofficina in Chessington which is a few minutes away from you? Im just down the A3 from you and I'm trying to work out who to use.

The other option is a pair of boxes courtesy of Marios @ Autoshield. I'm very happy with mine, the SS build quality is very good and they sound gorgeous

Your 3200 is the same colour as mine
I am not far away in Warlingham - I'll give you a shout if I am round your way - I am thinking of getting the rear boxes changed for straight throughs - a Powerflow centre in Croydon wants to have a look, but I'd like to hear yours first.
I have an unknown manufacture stainless steel back boxes, but too quiet for me, my daughters boyfriends 1.8i 3 series sounds meatier with a powerflow system!!!!

The best colour, that's fine let know if you near. The pipes are a little big bigger , but they do look very nice.

That's the issue I have with aftermarket rear boxes, the original are perfect in style and size, some of thr aftermarket ones ruin the look especially the twins rather than quads.

Your right there Phil, the original 3200 tips are exquisitely styled...not too round and not too oval

I think they look great, a very good match to the original shape. Mine are stainless steel, straight through pipes with no silencer. I had them sent down to me and my local indie exhaust centre fitted them for £20, I also provided them with new rings and one replacement link pipe which was a bit ropey. The sound is fantastic, coupled with the Larini centre section and race pipes which replace the cats.
