Apart from the seats and two Italian flags, is it not the same as a GS. I have never understood why limited editions should fetch more. Surely condition and history should have more of impact?

Different steering rack and internal engine parts from the Trofeo cars are the main mechanical differences. It really is quite a different driving experience to a normal GS. And the seats alone are a five figure sum! The blue threaded carbon is unique to the MCV and the alcantara interior is different to the usual GS also. The MCV is the most sporty version of the GS and all the better (and more valuable) because of it.

I’m surprised by the price of this one - is it that cheap because of the mileage?

I've done more miles on the continent in the GS than I have over here so a left hooker would make sense! but I don't have a pot of man-funds ATM :(

I was surprised at the price of this one, I thought it was dear for the miles and you need to do quite a bit of paintwork to get rid of the ghastly US Spec reflectors.

Given that the advertised price includes the costs of import to the UK and the dealers profit, it shows how cheap Masers are in the USA. You couldn't buy a RHD MCV in the UK (or a LHD MCV in Europe) for a price starting with a 4, so it is the cheapest way into one. But as Dicky says, you would need to get shot of the horrid reflectors.

But that presupposes there are cars with over 50k miles on them! When looking for an MCV the pool of available cars is tiny - and if you then reduce it to those with high mileages, it's minuscule. But you are quite right, if a high mileage MCV came up for sale in Europe, it might make less than £50k.

Both of those cars have very black interiors, so much nicer with a bit of contrast stitching etc.,..

Looks so much nicer in Victory Blue for me.

Agree Phil, it has to be Victory blue as that was the launch colour and matching the racers. Surely makes it more desirable ? Needs the blue inside as well to match the launch car. They just looked perfect.

Intrigued as to the steering rack changes and the difference they make. Can really be a night and day difference between two similar cars. For example I drove an M3 CS and CSL before driving a standard E46 M3, and my first thought was 'is it broken?' and the second was 'why do people rate this so much?'.

I take it the steering's sharper, but how much sharper?
